Got them!

Well, they're in. His tubes, that is. He did very good. The actual procedure only lasted 15 minutes maybe? We arrived around 6am and got checked in. The called us back and we got all cozy in pre-op. However, K was far from wanting to get cozy. 1. He was hungry. 2. He lovesss to walk around now that he can, and well... a preop area for a newly walking baby. Yeah, that'd send me in to shock or something! ;) Anyways. We pulled him around in a wagon for a while, and that helped pass the time. All the other patients/nurses really enjoyed talking to him and watching him. The anesthisologist came in and talked to us, and then the doctor came in. Shortly after that, we kissed him goodbye. He wasn't fond of everyone with their hats on. We went to the waiting room and waited. But we didn't wait long. The doctor then came and talked to us and told us what he found. He was able to get out a lot of fluid, and he did in fact still have an ear infection. Crazy, huh!? Anyways, when we greeted him in recovery he was NOT happy...at all! His paci and his dog helped calm him, along with some juice. Once he settled he hasn't been bad since. We got home around he slept for about 3.5 hours. He's been playing ever since. I'd like to thank everyone that has prayed for him (and me) and have asked about him. I truly appreciate it! Now... here's to a healthy brother bear! :)
