Playroom!

It's nothing fancy, or expensive, but I tried to spruce up the playroom a bit with as gender neutral as I could find. I made the curtains (a bit uneven, but whatever), made the banner, and the pom pom balls. I also added some pom pom balls in the girl's room, too! :)

Thanks to Pinterest (my new found obsession) I found these, and then a wonderful friend put them together for me!

And this little guy is just so confused....... ;) Hehe, just kidding!

What I've been up to..

A little of what I've been up to... "craft" wise anyways.
I had my first real sale, and then the next morning I had my first Etsy sale. Pretty exciting! I'm not trying to make a living off this, obviously. But I do enjoy it. The first order was by word of mouth, the second I just went off on a whim and decide to list a few shirts on Etsy, and one sold! :)

I also made these little shirts for the girls... just because! :) And finallllly a bow holder. "B" for Bryan, and it matches the girls' room. Now I just need to make some bows to fill it in.... I'm also working on some decor in their room, and the playroom. Will post pictures when it's all finished! :)

And one more shirt was ordered and will deliver tomorrow. Hope they like it! :)

Picnic at the park!

This morning on the way to school I asked the kids (ok... the girls) if when I picked them up afterschool if they wanted to have a picnic at the park. The squealed with excitement. Kade squealed too cause sissy's were squealing! Of course, they wanted to skip school and go right then. Silly girls! I got strict instructions from "little Ashley" on what she wanted for her lunch. As if I didn't know ;) I picked them up from school and off we went.
We played, we ate, we blew bubbles, we played in the leaves, we picked up sticks (ok, only Kade did this), but most of all we had fun!

Baton!

I started baton when I was 5 years old (with this same group and teacher :) http://superstartwirlingacademy.com/ ). I continued twirling until I started high school, which is when I decided I wanted to do cheerleading. I loved twirling when I was growing up, so it makes my heart happy that Kylie enjoys it so much! She practices at home, and wants to do her best. Jared and I are very proud of her!

A few pictures from her recital. Of course I sat on the wrong side of the gym. She was on the opposite side of where we sat in every routine, which doesn't make for good pictures, but that's ok. I wish I could have gotten a picture of Jared with her, but he got called out at the end of the recital. It stormed pretty good while we were in there, and had to go to work. Plus, I needed to get home, cause a certain little man missed his mama! :)

:)

I'm sure my husband would agree!

With that said, I'm trying to be a little ahead of the game. I'm real good about having ideas, and then putting them off, next thing I know I'm rushing to try and get the shirt/outfit done in time for the event. This is R's 4th of July outfit, going to try and make Kylie's today. I also made Kade's shirt and will probably attempt shorts for him, too! :)

15 months!

Hard to believe my "baby" is 15 months old. He's such a sweet little guy, and I love him to pieces. He loves playing with his sisters, and loves when mommy/daddy chases him on the floor. He loves to run and squeal, and loves the water. He's still sleeping 12-13 hours at night, and 2 hour nap in the afternoon. Sippy cup only. And still has his paci. Hopefully by 18 months we will have rid that. It's mommy's fault ;) He can say a couple words. Mama, dada, bye, hi, ball. He lovesss a ball, and a bat. Now he might not do what he's supposed to with the bat, but he loves it. He's 100% boy. It's fun to see the differences in only 15 months of raising a boy verse girls. He's in to all things boy, and loves dirt and sticks. Don't be surprised if you see him pushing a doll stroller if you're at our house, however, it may be a truck in the stroller that he's pushing!

All that sweet stuff, did I forget to mention his temper.
Oh this boy has a temper and can throw a tantrum with the rest of them. His way of a tantrum is stomping his feet, almost like he's running in place. It's rather comical. Being baby #3, mommy has learned to overlook tantrums pretty easily :) He's never had to go to time out... of course mommy's baby doesn't have to. But he often times goes to the time our corner and sticks his nose in and then turns around and laughs. Funny guy!
We love you, Kade Bryan! <3

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day, and a happy one it was! I have a wonderful husband, and awesome children. Kylie has such a giving and caring heart. She wanted to make sure that Jared got her and Reese up while I stayed in BED, while they all made me breakfast and she sat the table. Then, she would come wake me up for breakfast. And that's exactly what happened. It was perfect.

I was also given a sweet card, and a gift certificate for a massage. Um, yes please. Exactly what I wanted, because it's not something that I would buy myself. Thanks, Jared, Kylie, Reese, and Kade for an awesome day! After church, we came home and that's when everyone (minus Justin, who's in Georgia) came over for lunch. The kids swam, and the great grandma's, GG, Papa, and Uncle Marc watched. They are very entertaining! :)
When they left it was nap time. We made pallets on the floor and watched a movie, Reese and I slept. Kade slept in his bed though! ;)

We ended the night with chinese! :) Our day was perfect as a family! I am so blessed with my 3 blessings, and 1 wonderful husband! And can't forget my family, and my mom... aka GG! :) Happy Mother's Day to you, Mom! :)
